JAMMED UP....Sorry for yet another day of no posts; I've been jammed up again, between the World Cup and prepping for this Quebec National Day Bash (better known as "St. Jean Baptiste Day") we're hosting tonight. It's growing and growing and what started out as a small gathering of Quebecois, celebrating their national pride has suddenly turned into kind of a big deal... We'll see what the end result of this thing is and I promise to post the pics from the event in time for tomorrow's post.
And don't get me started on what we have to prepare for this Saturday, thanks to USA's remarkable last-second win in yesterday's World Cup match vs Algeria! I'm still trying to wrap my head around that! Simply amazing! That being said, that win turned my world upside down and now I find myself scrambling to get a staff together and getting the place ready for what should be another full-house as we head into the dreaded "Knockout Stage" of the tournament. It's "One and Done" time going forward. Win and you move on, lose and you pack your bags and go home. It's that simple.
Will Team USA continue its improbable run towards World Cup glory? Stay tuned...

Think it's odd that NOBODY in Milwaukee talks about the Stanley Cup finals or the US soccer team? Maybe we're just blinded from the sweat from Prince Fielder's balls hoping that he won't jump over to the Evil Empire.
