It seems that the newest Internet phenomenon has finally made its way to Third and Long. Yes, "Bros Icing Bros" is apparently the thing to do with your buddies these days. What is "Bros Icing Bros" you ask? It's some ridiculous stunt where someone catches an unsuspecting person off guard by presenting them with a bottle of Smirnoff Ice (an insult within its own right); the person receiving the bottle must then drop to one knee and polish off the Smirnoff Ice on the spot. A humiliating task indeed. Here's a sample of how it's done:

In any case, a few of our patrons found themselves "Iced" during the course of the night, a rather humiliating experience indeed. Even the Pub Trivia host found himself getting "Iced" at once point.

Ah, the hi-jinks of today's youth....
The night itself went pretty well. We had our weekly Pub Trivia event take place, this time with a '60's theme. We also had a special guest host, ERIN, one of our weekly pub trivia regulars, who did an admirable job! She even got into the spirit of the theme with her Woodstock-like attire!
There were plenty of new faces in tow for the evening's activity, including some old friends of mine from my days at the College of Mount Saint Vincent! It's always great to see familiar faces from the past and to see that they are doing well.
The competition this week was tighter than usual and we even had a TRIPLE Chug-off to determine 1st, 2nd AND 3rd place! Everyone got into the act and I have to admit, I even found myself cheering on the chuggers. Good stuff.
Tonight we're introducing a new special for the rest of the summer: "SUDS and SANGRIA Thursdays". Now every Thursday you can enjoy $4 Domestic Drafts or Sangria for $5/glass! Perfect way to beat the oppressive heatwave we've been dealing with the last few days!

Bros can ICE me anytime! Free beverages! And to be honest, those Smirnoff's aren't too bad. A little girly, but yet tasty. Wouldn't mind slamming one of those. So, where my homies at?
