KICKING OFF THE WEEKEND
I find myself with a rare Friday off so I decided in order to enjoy the day, I'd get my bar errands out of the way. While running errands, I always make it a point to observe everything around me in the neighborhood. You never know what you might see, whether it be something funny, something tragic, something surreal, or something that will make you say "What the F***?"
That being said, I was walking down 3rd Avenue and noticed ahead of me a bevy of folks turning their heads behind them. As it turned out, there was this buxom brunette walking towards me, nifty outfit and not wearing a bra. How did I know this? The pair of "hi-beams" coming right at me alerted me to this fact and the trail of turning heads confirmed it. What made this scene such a funny one was the group of cops sitting out in front of Jackson Hole. They were hanging out and yucking it up as usual until this woman made her way through them. It all of a sudden got quiet and the sight of ten cops with jaws dropping was enough to make me laugh out loud. So much for subtlety. As they always say, "Only in New York".
We're expecting great weather this weekend so I expect to see brisk business in the neighborhood. On Saturday night, we will be hosting a "Coming to America" party to celebrate the return of SULLY T from his trip to Europe. We'll have specially priced "All-American" drinks throughout the night as well as a killer playlist celebrating everything American! Of course, BABY GIRL and SULLY T will man the sticks and it should make for a fun-filled night!
