UPSETS, SNAKE EYES and ANGELS...

Sunday afternoon was another one of those vintage fun days that had so much laughter and hi-jinx, that I can't begin to remember it all. The crowd overall was lighter than normal, but those who chose to hang out on a beautiful Sunday afternoon were thoroughly entertained with action both on TV and in the bar.

For starters, the games were full of exciting action; With plenty of nail-biters and fantastic finishes, you could hear the Brew Crew yelling and screaming from what I'm sure was all the way across the street. Tight finishes in the PITTSBURGH/ATLANTA game, as well as the PHILADELPHIA/TAMPA BAY and SAN DIEGO/K.C. games left patrons stunned and delirious at the same time. There were also some people who were pissed off because their "sure bet" survivor teams got knocked off unexpectedly. I guess there's no such thing as a sure thing after all.

We were also graced with a surprise visit from ANGEL, who had been M.I.A. for quite a few weeks. And as expected, she jumped right into the fray without missing a beat. Some members of the Brew Crew got caught up in yet another new bar game that kept their attention going AWAY from the games (shocker). Between the bar games, the football games, the wisecracks and the ever-flowing stream of Gentlemen's Drinks, the crew had themselves a pretty good time.
