IT MUST BE A FULL MOON.....

You are probably expecting me to go on a tirade about the "Amazin's" and their total collapse, resulting in the team dropping into a first-place tie with their arch-rivals, the Philadelphia Phillies. Well, you're wrong. You'll get no tirades from me. No moaning and groaning about how their bullpen let things fall apart yet again. Nope, nada, nothing. Why do you think I show such a frosty attitude towards the boys from Queens?

It's really quite simple. They stink. When your team have a double-digit lead during the regular season, all was well in the world. They were coasting towards a playoff berth when all of a sudden they lost sight of the prize. The rest was history, culminating in a total meltdown this week. In fact, I'm not the only one calling this collapse a meltdown; all of the local papers are doing the same thing. Pitiful, pitiful, pitiful indeed. This should be an interesting weekend for the Mets. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, it looks as if America's Team (the Cleveland Indians) will indeed be playing the New York Yankees. So if any Yankee fans out there got an extra ticket for a brotha.... hook it up!

You can't make this stuff up; you really can't. Let this be a lesson to all of you when you are out and about. Drunk and stupid is no way to go through life. Trust me.


BTW- HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES go out to REDSKINS GIRL who's birthday is today!!! If anyone sees her, buy her a Miller Lite (or sushi). She'll appreciate both!
