In my haste to post this morning, I omitted one very important news event from yesterday: Did you know that at Riverside Church (on the Upper West Side) yesterday was "MARRY YOUR BABY DADDY DAY"? Ten couples took part in the ceremony bringing together single mothers and their "baby daddies". This annual event is sponsored by the church to promote two-parent unions. The ceremony was followed by a free reception afterwards.Isn't that sweet......

AND FINALLY: The National Hockey League kicks off its season this weekend with a set of games in London, England between the Stanley Cup champs, ANAHEIM DUCKS vs the LOS ANGELES KINGS! The local teams begin play next week!
