Just saw the early weather reports for the upcoming weekend and yes, they are predicting snow flurries for the weekend. At least that's what my weathergirl, HEIDI JONES keeps saying. Are you kidding me??? One day we're enjoying sixty degree weather and now all of a sudden I gotta go out and get my rock salt on? That sucks. But it looks like it's going to happen (specifically Saturday night/Sunday morning). WTF?!
I'm looking forward to a rare Friday off; I'm so excited that I'm not quite sure what to do. I have a couple of bar-related things to do this morning, but after that, the day-is-mine!!! Woo-hoo!
So BARRY BONDS was finally indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice in the ongoing steroids scandal that has rocked baseball for like eternity. And the one thing I have to say is: "AND????"
OREGON was the latest #2 team in college football to lose last night, which sends the whole BCS scenario topsy-turvy yet again. It looks to me that no one wants to play for the National Championship.
And poster boy DEREK JETER is apparently in trouble with the IRS for back taxes (he claimed that he is a resident of Florida, though he owns a 13 million dollar apartment in Trump Tower here in NYC). Again, the one thing I have to say is: "AND YOUR POINT IS????"
I guess what I'm subtly getting at is.... who cares? Really?
Thanksgiving Day is less than a week away. I can't believe it snuck up on me... again.

SUNDAY: "FAN-tasy Football Sunday" with $3.00 Bud/Bud Light drafts ALL DAY LONG! (NFL TV schedule announced tomorrow).
