HAPPY TRAILS....


It seems that there is now some prime piece of real estate up for grabs as the PONDEROSA is now without an owner. The last original member of the Cartwright family, Adam (played by PERNELL ROBERTS) from the show BONANZA, passed away yesterday at the age of 81.

Roberts (second from right), played the role of Adam Cartwright for six seasons before leaving the show to act in films and on stage. He later returned to TV in the early 80's to star in the TV hit series, TRAPPER JOHN M.D. , two of my favorite shows.

WANNABE HIPSTERS SUCK.

That's my conclusion after working Dollar Draft Madness last night. After witnessing the snarky attitudes of the wannabes and the tightly closed change purses they carry, I've decided that they are now on my list of people to detest. It's bad enough that these little shits try to portray themselves as cool and hip, with their hip-hop look, tilted baseball caps and peacock strutting around the bar. It's equally bad when they snap their fingers at the bartenders to demand service and yelling out "Yo" with the look of aloofness. But to do that, then order ten to twenty mugs of beers at a clip and consistently leave NO tip... then on top of that, not bother to bring up their empty mugs... then enough is enough.

So I am officially putting these little fuckers on my "SUCK ASS" List and immediately moving them to second place on the list, just behind cancer and ahead of Bin Laden and bunions.
