BOUNCEBACK WEDNESDAY...
Happy Veteran's Day! While many of you are enjoying a day off, please take a moment to remember and honor those brave individuals who served and gave their all for this country so that we may enjoy the things that we often take for granted. They deserve at least that much from us.
With today being a holiday, we experienced a nice hit last night for our weekly Pub Trivia competition. The bar was packed with new faces, with groups of people from the Royal Bank of Scotland, Fox Television, JP Morgan/Chase and KPMG in tow. The atmosphere was festive and everyone was into the competition, which is always good to see.
After the competition, many of the patrons stuck around and partied well into the night, many of them knowing I'm sure that they didn't have to worry about hitting the snooze button this morning. It was a nice bounce back from Monday and Tuesday night, when 3rd Avenue was strangely quieter than usual. Let's see what tonight will bring.
Speaking of tonight, it's the first Thursday night NFL game of the season, with the Baltimore Ravens facing off against the Atlanta Falcons. The game kicks off at 8pm on the NFL Network. If you don't have NFL Network (and of course, our cable systems here in NYC don't carry it), you'll have to swing by and catch the game with us! ($4 domestic drafts until 10pm) And we'll also carry plenty of NHL/NBA action as well.
It's a beautiful afternoon outside so I'm off to take advantage of it. See you tonight!
That's It. That's All I Got.
