ONE for EIGHT...

That's where I sit today after two brutal weekends of NFL Playoff Predictions.  If you were banking on me to take you to the financial "promised land" based on my predictions, you're probably filing for bankruptcy by now.  Sorry.

I guess the best thing for me to do at this point is to dust myself off (yet again) and try again next week.  The worst that could happen this time?   I could go 0-2 instead of 0-4.  Boom.

Otherwise, it was a great weekend for the NFL fan as the playoffs delivered some pretty good games.  No doubt everyone is still either in celebration mode (Jets, Steelers, Packers & Bears fans) or in shock/pissed off mode (Pats, Pats, Pats and yes, Pats fans) after this weekend's results.  If you are CBS or FOX, you are no doubt elated at what you have for the upcoming NFC/AFC Championship games. Great matchups in both title games.

Of course, here in NYC, with the Jets making it to their second straight AFC title game, it bodes well for all of the watering holes in the NYC area as Jet fans and NY fans in general will be out in full force to cheer on their "Gang Green" in the hopes that they make it to their first Super Bowl since 1969.
