THIS WEEK at THIRD and LONG

I mentioned earlier that I'd post some events that are taking place this week, just to give you a sample of what a typical week at the bar is like.

TONIGHT: "Mug Night Mondays" is a great way to start the week, featuring $1 Bud/Bud Light mugs OR if you're feel adventurous, $2 mugs, all other domestic drafts, including Brooklyn Summer Ale, Blue Moon, Magic Hat #9, Sam Adams Lager, Sam Summer Ale or Yuengling Lager. Board games, video games and Jenga available to play (for free). Not a bad way to start the week.

TUESDAY: "Dollar Draft Madness", the granddaddy of all of our drink specials, this staple has been around since we opened 19 years ago. The premise is a simple one: One buck= One Mug of Bud or Bud Light. It doesn't get any better than that. A popular night for young professionals and interns alike. The debauchery goes on pretty much all night long.

WEDNESDAY: Kopperberg Pub Trivia is our popular Hump Day event where friends and co-workers gather together to compete against other teams for bar tabs, bar swag and bragging rights. The competition can get fierce at times, but at the end of the night a good time is had by all. $5 Kopparberg Pear Ciders, $15 Miller High Life buckets and $4 Mixed Well Drinks for ladies all night long! We're also hosting an OMMEGANG HENNEPIN Tasting Party this Wednesday night, so if you haven't had a chance to experience OMMEGANG, now is your opportunity to see what I've been raving about!

THURSDAY: "Suds and Sangria Thursday", featuring $4 domestic drafts and $5 glasses of sangria to help cool you off in preparation for the weekend! Iona College Young Alumni is hosting a get-together this Thursday night (6pm).

FRIDAY: "Weekend Kick-Off Happy Hour", starts the weekend out right with $4 Domestic Drafts, Sangria and Mixed Well Drinks (5-9pm). Whatever happens afterwards, that's your call.

Then of course, is the weekend and all of the debauchery that comes with it. Check out our website for details on what's happening on Saturday and Sunday!

That's It. That's All I Got.
